Staying in Yoxall for a few days, we had a walk down with the dog to have a drink and something to eat. Called in at the Golden cup. We sat on one of the outside tables on the well kept grass and ordered some food and drink. I would like to say now that it was one of the best steak and mushroom pies we have had in a long while 👌 lovely warm welcome and great food at reasonable prices, well worth a visit

We often visit the golden cup when passing through yoxall. A beautiful pub with so much character and a lovely beer garden. Food is always amazing and staff so friendly and helpful. It is reasonably priced and portion sizes are good. Safe to say we never leave hungry!

I had the best fish and chips I've ever had in the Midlands . On a par with the best from the East coast. Not sure how they get such fresh fish . The chips are proper and superb. We've been coming here for over 25 years and it never …

Stopped at their advertised ‘campsite’ for a night. Not worth £15 pitch charge. Only available ‘service’ is water “down there” (tap and a short pipe outside the back door… seems to be to fill the dogs water bowl ) and “take your rubbish …

Now’t Golden about it! Main course Sunday Dinner poor. Totally understood the comments regarding the owner, character as warm as the pudding. Shame as beer was good and looked good in theory! Note - no kids menu, just kid sized portions of adults (except the salmon)!!

Mmmmm not impressed I ordered a steak medium it came well done . They did offer to change it but I had already ate some of it and just couldn't be bothered, the lady opposite me had a chocolate brownie desert and that came with mould on the top of it , so all in all a lovely looking place in a nice location but I will not be returning

Prime example of a well run establishment. Food and beverages are all good and great value. Made to feel valued as a customer by the owner and all staff. Lovely clean interiors and a garden that is very large and well kept. Lovely flowers and shrubs in main beer garden lead through to a kids playground and small caravan and motor home park next to a small river.
