I bought three pallets of Manchester bricks. The bricks are good strong bricks reclaimed from a colliery but unfortunately virtually all of the bricks have copious layers of paint on either one face or one end. The photos don't show any paint nor is it mentioned. When I raised this with Hadley Reclaimed they stated that they did not see this as an issue and could not understand why it mattered to me. If it is no issue then why don't they describe the bricks as such. I now have to clean what is almost certainly lead paint from the majority of these bricks before I can use them.

I bought some scaffolding boards, they were in excellent condition dry and not warped. Even with the cost of delivery, they still worked out as less than half the price of a well-known DIY store. The delivery driver was great and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this company.

Great service. Ordered reclaimed staff. bricks and slates to go on the top of a low wall, needed to match landscaping also from Hadley. Good bricks, some colour, all a bit different and no broken ones. Very pleased with quality. Amazingly arrived day after ordering.

Great service, i ordered 11 reclaimed sleepers on Monday, delivered on Thursday. A massive thankyou to Pete the delivery driver who went above and beyond due to my inability to follow advice about how heavy these sleepers are. They warned me twice over the phone, but i still thought i would be okay carrying them. I can squat 120kg in the gym but couldnt carry one of these sleepers on my shoulder as i had planned in my head. I dont know what they weigh but its a lot. Unless youre Eddie hall have a plan better than mine. About the sleepers, i really like them, they stack nice and they are well weathered, you can tell they are genuine railway sleepers due to the bolt holes through them where they were once connected to the tracks, look really nice in my opinion. If unsure id recommend going to look at them as they do have some significant splits to the ends and across the body of the sleeper, but i like this look for my intended use, but some may say that they are b graded not a graded, regardless they will last for many years to come. Some are less weathered than others and are definitely a grade so maybe go to the yard and pick out the ones you want if Hadley allow that. Will definitely recommend and use again!
