We booked for 14 to have Christmas dinner . Service was very slow . 2 hours for our mains to come out . Not everything on certain plates . The 2 children were given the same as adults which was over bearing for them . We had to wait for our table to be cleaned and reset when we arrived . But the table we was promised was empty a then given to a group who walked in after us and shown straight to the table . And all the manager had to say when I said I wasn’t happy was ‘ well it is my Christmas Day as well ‘ Not once did she say sorry . It was obvious they couldn’t cope with the number of people dining

Just had our Xmas golf lunch at The Foresters Arms, Yoxall. An excellent 3 course meal followed by mince pies and tea/coffee. A great choice of food, buzzing atmosphere, beautifully presented and served by extremely pleasant, well organised staff. Thoroughly enjoyed by 60 ladies. Well done staff at The Foresters. Highly recommended 👌 GH

Once again they made our annual dinner a great success Great food, service, and thanks to the chef we had high end dinning with out silly prices Emma and staff, attentive without being in a rush to get you out Thank you all. Parking: Loads of room plus over spill area Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access wide doorway. With loo just in side the entrance.

Had superb fish and chips. Chipees are good but they mass produce. This was individually prepared f&c for two.

Had lunch here 10/23 whilst visiting friends who live locally. Two of us had the pie of the day, which was shin of beef. It was excellent - an individual shortcrust pie well-filled with generous servings of mash and buttered greens and with a tasty gravy. Service very good too. Only three stars for atmosphere as the pub was strangely virtually empty (Saturday lunchtime).

I usually refuse to go out for a Sunday roast dinner because they're never good enough for the money, the Foresters however was delightful and worth every penny. Very generous portion of prawns for the starter and every item on the main was gorgeous. We did not have to wait very long between courses even though the restaurant was 2/3 full. The service was welcoming, warm and helpful We're all looking forward to returning in the near future, and hopefully this time the poached pear desert won't have sold out already.

We went last Saturday night we both had the sirloin steak it was cooked to perfection and we had the cheesecake for afters and that was beautiful as well well presented and all home made the service was good they were very polite and nothing was too much

Cold inside the pub .Came to take orders quick enough but waited ages on service. Food was tasty but portions extremely small and not cheap .Garlic prawns were obviously frozen defrosted and tomato soup ,although tasty, was gone in four spoonfuls. Won't be hurrying back

It was really lovely. We had Sunday lunch and it was superb. The staff go above and beyond. Emma is the manager and you couldn't ask for a nicer and more pleasant young lady. Not to mention the chef's who are very professional and the food comes out piping hot. Well done everyone. We will be back. Thank you.
